TV, festivals, radio and a whole lot more!

Well, it's been a busy couple of months here in the Canned Panther offices. What with Familiar Looking Strangers gigging in London, artist websites to come, and planning for Mathew Street Festival, it's fair to say it's been a bit manic!

But even more exciting are the months ahead...

Christina Malley

Well, what an exciting time it is for our favourite and very own blues singer. Christina Malley has got some cracking festivals and gigs lined up:

L1 Festival - Liverpool, 27/7/08

Mathew Street Festival - Liverpool, 24/8/08

3345 - Liverpoo, 25/9/08

If you simply can't wait that long, you can catch her on BBC1 7pm, Saturday 19th July on Last Choir Standing. Christina will be performing with Sense Of Sound Choir and you'll get to see her doing a special solo of 'Let It Be'. Click here for more info: http://www.bbc.co.uk/lastchoirstanding/choirs/sense/

Keep your eyes peeled for the launch of www.christinamalley.com which will be coming in the next month!

Familiar Looking Strangers

Well, what a month it's been for FLS. With record hits on their Myspace and Facebook, interest is so hot right now, we burn our panther paws every time we utter their name!

London gigs and festivals to boot are just scratching the surface. Their song 'Ready For The Change' has been picked up by directors Patricia Trueba & Tomas J Salmeron, and is being used in the film 'Blanco en Botella...(if the cap fits...)'

Next week FLS play Hawkfest... check it out! http://www.hawkwindmuseum.co.uk/Hawkfest%202008.htm

Jack Roberts

Our beloved Jack Roberts now has a keyboard player, so we're back on the road! Even more exciting, Heebie Jeebies have agreed to showcase Jack Robert's artwork in their infamous courtyard! We're told it will be on view by the end of the month; so watch out!

You can also catch Jack at L1 Festival, and on Liverpool TV where they're showing clips of his notorius Zanzibar performance!
